Trump's new Chief of Staff's first day

04 Agosto 2017

And now he is free to be on TV all he wants.

John McCain returned to the Senate and literally gave the measure to wind back president Barack Obama's signature legislation the thumbs down.

President Donald Trump on Monday formally installed John F. Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general, as his White House chief of staff, in a bid to bring more discipline to a West Wing in turmoil.

Trump said, "He will do a spectacular job I have no doubt".

Soon after he sold Skybridge, Scaramucci was named Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs and an assistant to President Trump.

"Highest Stock Market EVER, best economic numbers in years, unemployment lowest in 17 years, wages raising, border secure, SC: No WH chaos!"

The new chief of staff's job: managing crisis.

"We look forward, if it's possible, to an even better job as chief of staff", Trump said. "He said he was going to fire everybody, and I gotta admit, he delivered".

"What he's done in terms of homeland security is record-shattering", Trump said, saying Kelly had achieved "tremendous results" in "a controversial situation", a reference, among other things, to the administration's implementation of a temporary travel ban on refugees and residents of several majority-Muslim countries and its more aggressive enforcement of immigration laws.

Two hundred miles south, Anthony was briskly heading away from the White House after the news of his departure broke, accompanied by his former co-worker Kellyanne Conway.

And North Korea's long-range missile tests. The front-stabber has been back-stabbed.

The abrupt decision signals that Kelly is moving quickly to assert control over the West Wing, which has been characterized by interpersonal disputes and power struggles during Trump's six months in office.

Trump was adamant that the White House was in perfect working order in a series of tweets on Monday following the firing of Scaramucci.

Trump plans to sign the measure into law, the White House has said.

This is how it goes.

James Brien Comey Jr is an American lawyer who served as the seventh Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from September 4, 2013 until May 9, 2017.

The protracted health care fight has slowed Trump's other policy goals, including a tax overhaul and infrastructure investment. "The error will be corrected in subsequent editions".

Kelly, the first former general to occupy the gatekeeper's post since Alexander Haig played that role for President Richard M. Nixon during Watergate, is charged with quelling the chaos that has defined, distracted and often derailed Trump's White House.

Scaramucci, a former hedge fund manager, resigned from the White House Monday.

The flamboyant host of the show loved to sack people who did not live up to his sense of expectation, basically anyone who did make mullah by declaring bankruptcy - a number much higher then the total number of days his show was aired.

The House has begun a five-week recess, while the Senate is scheduled to work two more weeks before a summer break.
