Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Launched In India At ₹67900

12 Setiembre 2017

It will be sold through offline retail stores, Samsung e-store, and Amazon India online store starting September 21st.

Apple's new iPhone debut follows Samsung's launch last month of its new high-end phone, the Galaxy Note 8, which hits shelves Sept. 15 starting at around $950. It has a finer tip, improved pressure sensitivity, and features that enable users to express themselves in ways that no other stylus or smartphone ever has.

Inventions from Qualcomm lay the foundation for so many technologies and experiences we value in our smartphones today - on Android and other platforms.

Samsung is betting on the Note 8 to keep its market dominance as it competes with rival Apple Inc's latest iPhones due to be unveiled later on Tuesday. The device comes with a hybrid slot where the user can opt for a secondary SIM or the MicroSD card. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor and a 3300mAh battery and the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It can offer up to 2X optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie-shooter with f/1.7 aperture. It comes with a revamped setting menu and adheres support for multiple languages, emojis, and app links.

The technological hurdles Koh mentioned could refer to the mass production of the flexible, resilient plastic film that acts as a substrate for flexible displays. Here's to the next generation of mobile device start-ups and innovators, competing to bring you the next wave of class-leading Android devices. Both the handset and the S Pen are IP68 certified making them water and dust resistant. Connectivity options are - Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio-jack, NFC and GPS. There is a fingerprint sensor on the right of the rear camera which is used to unlock the device.

If a foldable phone is sold by Samsung next year, we suspect it will be available in limited numbers and likely at a very high price, so you may still want to wait until at least 2019 - when a more refined model might arrive - to actually buy one.
