A memory function ensures that both seat and wheel will return to the driver's selected positions when the brake is pressed.

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk on Sunday tweeted that the company's electric semi will make its debut Thursday night.

"On net, despite a potentially compelling value proposition, we do not see the Tesla Semi opportunity as a thesis changing initiative for the company, at least initially", said the Bernstein analysts, according to Benzinga.

Musk ratcheted up the hype on the semi in April of this year, confirmed a fall release, praising his team's work, and proclaiming the semi "seriously next level".

Now, invites for the launch have finally been sent out - and reveal a new silhouette of the vehicle.

Elon Musk isn't stopping at revolutionizing the electric car.

"For CVs, the decision tends to be purely economic", in terms of cost of ownership and utilization, Spak wrote in a note.

Thursday's debut comes on the heels of a couple of Tesla delays over the electric car maker's ongoing work in Puerto Rico and issues concerning its new Model 3.

He added that while the company's long-term prospects may not be impacted, the company's failure to hit its near-term targets could "hold back the stock" or offer a "more favorable risk/reward entry point".

The truck's shape resembles the shadowy rendering Tesla previously teased. Tesla stated that the terminations are part of a usual performance assessment procedure, but half a dozen ex- employees gave interviews to CNBC that they were blindsided by the discharges. The truck was originally set for debut in September before being pushed to October, then to Nov. 16.

Meanwhile, Daimler, which already has smaller electric trucks on the road-and which used to be a Tesla investor-beat Tesla to the punch by unveiling its own E-Fuso Vision One electric big rig prototype last month.
