Midfield: Paul Pogba inspired United's stunning comeback against City last week and the French international is expected to keep his place in midfield following his two-goal display.

It is Abu Dhabi-owned City's third title in seven seasons and their first since former boss Manuel Pellegrini achieved the feat in 2013-14.

The 24-year-old has netted 26 goals in all competitions this season since joining the Reds last summer and scored the 100th goal of his Premier League career against Swansea City in our last home game. "Premier League Champions 17/18", City tweeted soon after the final whistle, when the fifth English top-flight title of its history was assured. He impressed for the Baggies and that saw him attract interest from Everton. So, the more I put the work in, the more confident I am in certain situations because I've worked on it. I know what to do, I know where to do it and I don't fear anything.

Lukaku must have thought he had broken the deadlock after 65 minutes but former United goalkeeper Foster got down superbly to repel the Belgian's powerful header from Nemanja Matic's cross.

Rodriguez, who has one England cap, appeared to pinch his nose after they clashed and Bong spoke to the referee.

Manchester City have been crowned Premier League champions following Manchester United's shock home defeat against West Brom on Sunday.

"We have welcomed the verdict of an FA hearing which has dismissed an allegation of racist abuse by Jay Rodriguez", the club said on its Twitter page. That's how I think. If I fail, it's no problem.

An 18-match winning run from late-August to late-December laid the platform for the runaway title victory, and it was only a matter of when it would be clinched.

Baggies' director of football administration Richard Garlick, who attended Wednesday's hearing, added: "Everyone at the club is delighted for Jay because this has been a trying period for him".

Lindelof will join Chris Smalling at centre-back, while Mata will play with Alexis Sanchez and striker Romelu Lukaku in the attack.
