Tom Brady found himself unwittingly pulled into another Trump controversy Tuesday as porn star Stormy Daniels released a sketch of the man she says threatened her to keep quiet about her relationship with the president - a drawing that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Patriots superstar.
After teasing the reveal for more than a week, the adult film actress appeared on ABC's "The View" to unveil an image of the man she says menaced her and her young daughter and warned her in 2011 to keep quiet about a 2006 encounter with Trump.
Avenatti has increased a $100,000 reward to $131,000 for information leading to the man's identification.
The tweet was the first from Trump that explicitly referred to Daniels's allegations since the Wall Street Journal reported in January that Trump's longtime personal attorney, Michael Cohen, had arranged a $130,000 payment to Daniels shortly before the 2016 election.
But if you work at a magazine like In Touch Weekly, you might be likely to elevate Stormy Daniels to that honor.
"I didn't want everyone to know".
"I didn't want everyone to know, I didn't want my family to find out that way". The F.B.I. has been investigating Mr. Cohen for bank fraud related to this payment and other matters.
The sketch was drawn by Lois Gibson, known as the Guinness World Records holder for most successful forensic artist.
So, why did Stormy pick Planned Parenthood, and not, let's say, a shark charity? "We're likely going to be amending our complaint - we're looking at doing that now - to add a defamation claim directly against the president".
"I am dancing more".
Cohen was in court to ask the judge to limit the ability of federal prosecutors to review documents that were seized.
Daniels has worn statement charms in the past, including a lightning bolt - no doubt a reference to her stage name - and a 'Wicked' charm promoting Wicked Pictures.
"I'd have to get 20 million first", Daniels added.
Trump has repeatedly said there was no collusion.
"His face is burned in my memory", Daniels explained. Asked by host Anderson Cooper if she considered the incident a direct threat, she said yes, adding, "Absolutely".
